I am Oreo Chan from Macau. I had started my study at Certificate course in HTMi since 2007. Frankly speaking, I was a little worried about how my life would be and whether I could get along with other students from different countries before coming to this school. However, the friendly teachers and students here surprised me. A fterward, I have studied through Diploma and Higher Diploma courses and up to BSc course now. I am really impressed by the management of HTMi in their effort to innovate the school and the emphasis on listening to students to understand our needs.
On the other hand, HTMi is being very supportive for students’ careers, as they arranged interviews for me in two Swiss hotels in my Certificate and Diploma level, so that I could have my internships in those hotels working in different departments. Throughout my practical courses inHTMi and my internships in Switzerland, I have learnt how to work in an efficient manner, being a responsible and courteous staff, as well as providing a high-standard service to customers; and I have developed good managerial skills in dealing with different customers. After finishing the BSc course here, I would like to start my career in the field of Sales and Marketing. I believe that what I have learnt in HTMi not only be applied on my future career, but also in my lifetime.
Lastly, I just have to say - I will be missing my life in this school so much after graduation.
