Hi, my name is Narumon Nilmanon and I am from Thailand. I am currently studying at HTMi since August 2009. I enrolled as a Postgraduate Diploma in International Hotel and Tourism Management student. At the moment I am studying the Diploma in training for the trainers in hotel management.
Before coming to HTMi I successfully completed my Bachelor of Arts majoring in Chinese and English. After having completed my tertiary studies, I asked myself what will be the next step in my life. Having thought about it for some time I finally came to the conclusion that I am destined to the hospitality industry. I strongly believe that I am designed for this industry due to the fact that I really love interacting with people and it is the perfect place to apply my linguistic skills.
The first day I arrived at HTMi, I fell in love with this school. Studying in such a wonderful scenery and working with such great people is the perfect environment for one to learn, it is my home away from home. I have lots of friends from all over the world. We learn, share, party and exchange many interesting facts about our different cultures and nationalities. Also, the studying here in HTMi is really fun because since I am here, I studied both theoretical and practical courses. All of the teachers at HTMi are excellent because they really are always willing to help us when we students are in need.
After having spent one semester here I have gained a great amount of knowledge and learnt a lot in life. This is only the start because I am sure that in the upcoming semesters everything I will learn can only be fruitful for my upcoming career in the hospitality industry.
